Which is better and why?
If I am only using this interconnect cable to attach my
TV to my receiver for audio, does it make a difference which cable I use? Discernable difference in sound quality?

For your application, I don't think that you can go wrong with either one.
I doubt if you will hear any discernable difference is sound quality.
