Does anyone know what gauge the wires in the different M-series cables are? Particularly the MCX-1s cables. I have heard many different answers from different salespeople. I also wrote Monster cable's cust. serv. and got a hazy reply that didn't really answer my question. This is one thing that bugs me, I don't care so much about all their technologies, but I want to know the basic gauge of the cables. Thanks for any answers.

Well, this time I actually got an answer from Monster Cable. They responded:

    Joe,

The MCX1s is similar to a 14 gauge. The MCX2s and up are all at least 12

gauge and higher. As you move up in the line you will get more technology

and more copper built into the cable.

Biwire cables are just two pairs of the same cable terminated with two

connectors on one end, the receiver, and 4 on the other, the speaker.

You should be thankful you got a reply from monster. I have sent 2 emails to them with no reply.

1st was asking what gauge a particular wire was

    and

2nd was where could I buy their stuff in Canada as there website doesnt list any canadian distributors.

Shitty service has led me to another brand.
