Is it really that hard to wait another couple of days until the official announcement date?

    Obviously not...

I guess that we could copy the news and when we get asked by Tristar why we posted it early we could then point fingers at DavisDVD... but then no self-respecting person would do that, right?

Ah, the love. Can you feel it?

Sweet webmasters, the info has already been published in Video Store Magazine... mine arrived two days ago.

So you see, you silly gooses, it was not I who actually broke the announce date.

Hope all is well across the pond!

I'll be picking this up. Even though I knew it was Charlize under that makeup, I still couldn't believe it was her. It'll be interesting to see the feature on the makeup.

Well, it is Columbia/Tristar after all. Wouldn't be surprised if there was a SE in the future, along with a Superbit.

My thoughts exactly. I know the movie isn't a big hit or anything, it still wouldn't surprise me that 3 different versions of this movie end up on the store shelves, and that is assuming that there isn't a full screen of each available.

Yes, but it's a Newmarket release (CTS handles their DVD product). A special edition wouldn't surprise me, but a Superbit would.

Then again, the double-disc set with Broomfield's 2002 documentary might already be considered a special edition. It's a fascinating documentary; I reviewed it here when it played (briefly) in theaters.
