I just upgraded from the 2500 to the htps 7000. The sound was a huge improvement. The picture improvement was nominal from the two units howver compared to being plugged straight into a wall the improvement is great.

I've got a 2500 - it's not really a power conditioner, is it? I think it's more of a glorified surge protector. It would be great if it was, but I don't think it's truly a power conditioner.

That aside, I like mine. Nice console like unit - puts the cables in the rack nicely. I don't know about a true sound improvement - it's been so long since I installed it.

I found the best impovement for me was to get better power cables rather than a power conditioner. This, of course, only works if you have detachable power cords.
