Does anyone think that Rhino will ever lower the price of seasons 1 and 2? The Monkees are cool but 80 buck is more than I can afford for a single season.
That's why I haven't picked up the paramount star trek: os sets
I wish Rhino would re-issue the series in a affordable, more standard set.

Each season is $53 and change at DDD. Still steep, but that's about the best I've seen... They're both still in the $70-$80 range at amazon.com and buy.com...$90 at bestbuy.com.

Next best I've seen is videouniverse.com...$61/$54.

I'm waiting for a drop on these as well. Due to price and stories of some dodgy source material, I'll continue to hold out.

Wait until DeepDiscountDVD, hopefully, does their 20% off sale. I'm guessing the price is probably high on this series due to music rights.

That and the inclusion of commentary by Michael Nesmith who, shall we say, does not work cheap!
