Just picked up Season One of Monk at Target on sale. I know that the
original review I read mentioned a packet of hand cleaner and a booklet.

Have the newer copies of this Seaon One set done away with the booklet?(I
don't care about the hand cleaner)

    Thanks,
    Michael H.

The booklet is a tri-fold sheet with episode titles and synopsis. My copy, purchased when first released, included one. I'm not sure if they were dropped for later pressings.

Since the episode titles are also listed on the backside of the DigiPak, you're not missing much.

My personality won't allow me to let it go. I want my tri-fold with synopsis!!!

Oh well, I guess I'll just have to settle for the episode title.[IMG]

Can you imagine if Monk received a DVD with a missing insert? That empty pocket in the DigiPak would drive him friggin' nuts! He'd be back at the store opening up every copy in search of an insert. (A scenario not so far-fetched for some members here.[IMG])

It could actually make for a good set-up scene in a Monk episode. He could get caught opening DVDs in the store -- in search of his missing insert -- then arrested for "shoplifting." I can see him having to explain what he was doing to the judge. The judge would say, "Nobody is that crazy about a stupid piece of paper in a DVD case!" Then Monk would say, "You're obviously not a member of the HTF." [IMG]
