Lately I have noticed the edges around my screen image are like "shimmering." I can visibally see the image shaking a bit back and fourth. Any idea what it could be or how to fix it?

My monitor is Viewsonic 19 Inch CRT, barely a year old.

I seem to of fixed this, I don't know what the problem was but I dropped the refresh rate to 60Hz from 75Hz and it seems fine now. Hope there are no side effects to doing that!

depends what resolution you are using, look in the manual it will tell you what refresh rate to use for the resolution you are running. on my sony 22" they recommend 85hz for a res of 1600x1200. if you are using windows xp it generally defaults to 60hz anyway unless you tweak it.
