Hi all...

I posted this question in another part of the forum, but I have yet to get any replies, so I thought I would try posting it here....... So here it is:

I just had an AC unit installed in my house. Now I am noticing a flicker on my computer monitor. Does anybody know what I can do to get rid of it?? I have tried the refresh rates etc.. But nothing seems to work. Does anybody know of piece of equipment I can buy that would get rid of this?? I have it along with my music server plugged into an APS... But it doesn't seem to be helping... Any help would be greatly appreciated..

It is a whole house A/C Heating unit... The actually A/C unit is on the other side of the house... Where as the heating unit is in the attic.... They had to put in a new circuit breaker just for the A/C unit and combined two of the other circuit breakers into 1 circuit break with 2 breakers on it... If that makes sense...... I did have the monitor plugged into a regular power.. I then plugged it into an aps... hoping that would work... It didn't... Is there anthing besides the big boys for cleaning power or regenerating power for just a monitor???? Or something I can put on the plug like a filter or something????
Thanks
R~

Perhaps a line conditioner of some sort, but you could probably replace the monitor w/ an LCD monitor for about the same amount of $$... i doubt there's an inexpensive solution. Maybe putting the A/C unit on a completely different circuit... i'd contact an electrician for more advice.
