If there is anyone willing to help show me how to add a scanned image to a post, that would be greatly appreciated. The image is on my computer as a jpeg.

Any and all responses will be appreciated.

    Thanks

Ok you computer gurus, how bout just a little bit of help? I have a thread going in the Speakers and Subwoofers section and some people have requested that I post some graphs from an old magazine. I just have never added a picture to a post. This can't be all that complicated can it?

    I would sure appreciate it.

    Thanks

You need to find a free website like Google, etc and host your pics there, then use the url it has to upload it here.

Note that many ISP's offer free webspace you can put your pics on. Call and ask them too.

    Good luck!

go to www.imageshack.org -- you can upload your file, then link it to your post using the "img" button.

Imageshack.us and UploadImages.net are both excellent free pic hosts w/ 1MB/pic allowance. The former even lets you create your own acct. so you can keep track of all the pics you've uploaded. They'll both give you the forum coding for the pic so you can simply C&P. Here's an example of what it looks like -

Thank you so much for Imageshack. I have sucessfully uploaded my first picture to Imageshack and over the next few days will work on getting the image into a post. From what you mention, this is a cut and paste operation. I'll let you know how I make out with that end of the operation.

    Thanks
