With much anticipation the MMG-C ordered finally arrived. I hooked it up to my system mated with the 12s up front and MMGs in the rear. To my surprise I did not like the sound. It sits atop a 56" rptv angled down toward the listener. I find the sound being very thin and have attempted to correct things with and without a sub (at various crossover points). Although the timbre is much improved relative to my previous box center channel, the clarity and presence of the MMG-C is to a much lesser degree. Any thoughts or suggestions? I am thinking of returning it and going back to my previous box center for movies and using a phantom center for 5.1 music. Looking forward to responses. Thanks!

Obviously this is an old post, but I was wondering if the MMG-C ever sounded right. I.e. was it a break-in issue, or did you return it, etc.?

    Thanks
