Hi,
I'm planning a home theater surround system for my parents family room. A friend of ours has the MK 750 THX system in their private home theater and it sounds incredible. I forgot to look at what model Denon Reciver they had so that doesnt help.
But I'll be sure to find out next time I'm over there.
Since my parents budget isnt as big as our friends we're looking at the MK K-series of speakers. Specifically:
K-7 L/R/Center
K-4 L/R rears
K-10 sub
I'm still trying to figure out a reciever to power them. I've chosen the Denon AVR-3803 as, so far, what I had in mind. However I've read that you need a reciver that handles 4 ohms, and I dont think the AVR-3803 does this? But I could be totally wrong (wouldnt surprise me!).
Doing the components all seperate, "reciver > pre-amp > amp" etc would drive the cost out of our range but if thats the only way, then we'll have to re-think our speaker system of choice.
I appreciate any and all help you guys and gals can give us on choosing a good reciever to power the MK's.
Thank you for your time!
