My gut tells me this is a dumb idea but here goes.
I have 6 Klipsch speakers (4 floors, 1 center, 1 sub) set up in a room now with a 7.1 Onkyo 805 receiver.
In another room, I have 5 Premier Accustics speakers that are OK but are not my favorite drivers. Anyway, two of the PAs are smallish bi-directional units and they don't fit the room ideally so I'm considering moving them into the Klipsch system.
I beleive all the drivers will be 8 ohms. The effeciency rating of the PAs and Klipschs are similar - 91DB, but I suspect the Klipschs are more effecient.
Will this work out OK: I'm very picky about stuff like this.
Anyway, the other option would be to buy 2 Klipsch bookshelf drivers or just leave the 5.1 as is.
Thx..
