Mitsubishi XD300U ColorView? (1 Viewer)

With a going street price of under 3 grand, this PJ has gotten some nice press on Projector Central over the last few days.

It's listed as a 4-segment, 2x speed DLP… which automatically raises a red flag, IMO. The site's review mentions nothing about rainbows. This seems odd, considering it's the first thing that came to mind when I read about the 2x color wheel.

Has anyone seen this projector in action?

Todd, I have this projector on order, will arrive tomorrow, so I'll let you know. I too was concerned about the 2x color wheel, as the 2x color wheel on the InfocusX1 was unbearable to me. The knowledgeable sales guy at ProjectorPeople.com told me that it has software to control the color, thus eliminating any rainbow effect. We'll see......
