I have a Mitsubishi Pre Amp M-P04 and a Mitsubishi Power Amp M-A04.On the back of the Pre Amp are two connections labelled Switched / Power Amp / Total 300W Max and another labelled Unswitched / 300W Max.What are these connections for?

They're for plugging in things like cd and dvd players. The Switched connections are turned on and off with the receiver and the Un-switched connection is active all the time (like a wall outlet). Pay attention to the 300W Max warning. Don't plug a plasma display into any of them.
