Don't know if anyone has heard...or cares...

But Best Buy is now selling mitsubishi HDTVs I know for a fact that they have models in most of their stores today or tomorrow, but nothing on their web page yet.

Saw two today in the local store 65" and a 55", they said they were gonna have 3 on display soon.

They are carrying their own model #, which is a stripped down Gold series version. SVM cannot be turned off, so that alone should exclude it from consideration.
