Mitsubishi 46809 vsm disable procedure (1 Viewer)

Does anyone know the procedure on how to disable the velocity scan modulation on my wt-46809 Mitsubishi? I found a procedure for tv's ending with '7', but this did not work on mine.

I have the same TV and have done it Chris. Let me get the info at home and mail it to you, it is quite easy. If I don't send you something in a day or two, send me an email or a PM and prod me in the butt (very busy lately.)

Basically, you type in a code and enter the service menus. From there you keep pressing the Video button until you see VSM = X and change it to what you like (I personally like VSM =0 for 480p and VSM=1 for 480i.)

Off the track a little but I recently bought a 55311 where I can turnoff the VSM.

What source material would be best for me to notice the effect? Is there a particular DVD that would show me the difference?
