Hey all, long time lurker, now I'm asking for some help. Have a Mitsubishi WT-42311 and have recently gotten HD cable service through Cox with a Scientific Atlanta Explorer 3250HD box.
This is the first 1080i signal my TV has seen, and I'm having an issue with what seems to be vertical overscan. Basically, the signal is stretched vertically, with the top and bottom portions getting cropped off. It's affecting all the channels, not just the 16x9 HD channels. This only happens when the box is set to output a 1080i signal, as 480i/p look fine.
I've haven't found any way to make adjustments within my TV, and Cox has been absolutely no help. Does anybody have any ideas? I'd really like to have properly functioning HD for the big game tomorrow.
Thanks,
Brian
