Mits WS-55315 RPTV, opinions? (1 Viewer)

A local electronics store has this tv on sale for $1649. We have been looking for an rptv.. just wanted to know how mits stacks up against jvc, sony and the rest in your opinion.. The guy i talked too said he would give it to me at the price even after the sale if i wanted to shop around some more. Do you think it would be reasonable to see if he could go any lower?

I have the WS-48315 and it is great! I really like the newer model design and of course the picture is great with DVD. I don't have HD yet but I am assuming that it is stunning because if DVD is great then HD is better. That does sound like a reasonable price too. You might be able to get an older model like last years WS-55513 for a lower price. I think the only real difference is just cosmetic but I am not sure about this. Any way you go Mitsubishi is great!
