Missing: "The Job" dvd set (1 Viewer)

Someone mentioned DVD sets of both seasons of "The Job" on the Comedy Central roast of Denis Leary tonight. I figured they may be joking, but I decided to look anyway. Surprisingly, I found these:

Where are these!? Someone find out what happened to the release!

That cover looks surprisingly well done if it's a bootleg. I also heard that comment, and would love to know if its real. I loved the show and would buy it in a second. However, I don't remember hearing anything about it, so I doubt it real. For now.

I don't think they're bootlegs.

Here is a thread from last year where someone stated that they were due in December 2002.

I just checked TVshowsonDVD.com

They didn't have ANYTHING about this. Believe me, if this existed then they would know about it.

However, Leary and Co. could be giving those out early to guest, and they could be released later on. In fact, Jerry Seinfeld reportedly gave the DVD players and selected episodes of Seinfeld on DVD, to his cast members as a goodbye gift when his show ended. So ya never know. I think the show will come out eventually. If SportNight could make it on DVD, the Job will have no problem.

I noticed the mention on the Roast as well. They were in the guest/attendee gift bags. I think this is similar to the Thornbirds DVD giveaway at The View.

I got this reply from the ebay seller:

According to the DVD set I have, the company that put
it out was called Digital Bucket. I heard that they
had the deal to put the Job on DVD. Even before I got
my set I tracked down their web site but couldn't find
anything more on a release date. It appears to me that
these were made for the purpose of sending to
different companies for possible release.
