I'm a huge fan of the underrated Steve Martin classic Leap of Faith. One of the things I remember most about the movie is a scene where they show the different tricks of the trade - how they rig the statues to cry, etc. However, that scene was nowhere to be found on the DVD. (NOTE: I'm not talking about the scene where tears come from the statue the morning after one of the revival meetings - I'm talking about a scene where they show how things like that are done.)
Am I going crazy and thinking of a different movie? I really don't think I am though. I am almost positive that the scene I described was in the movie when I originally saw it on cable years ago because it was the most interesting and memorable part of the movie for me.
If someone can help me on this matter, it would be MUCH appreciated.
Thanks!
