Yup, Denny's is running radio spots (haven't seen any tv ones yet) with Kermit and Miss Piggy promoting the $2.99 breakfast. At the end of the spot a voice-over mentions you get eggs, BACON and SAUSAGE! [IMG]

I saw the TV spot - it was pretty bizarre. I thought they'd at least mention the strange issue it presents...

It's not so strange. Pigs eat anything and don't seem to have a problem with cannibalism.

Yes, I saw it too and reacted to that.
Julie, and she's not a real pig. [IMG] But by making her more human than pig, I think they should acknowledge that she wouldn't eat one of her own. Then again, since she's basically a human, she can eat pigs all she wants. [IMG]

BTW, puppet cannibalism is portrayed in the exquisite Meet the Feebles by Peter Jackson.
Of course, just about any sort of puppet perversion imaginable is portrayed in Meet the Feebles

Early Muppet appearances on tv did show bigger ones eating smaller ones!

Peter, you beat me to it!

I remember the first Muppets skit I ever saw, on ABC-TV's old Hollywood Palace Saturday-night variety hour in the mid-'60s. Frog eats worm. New worm comes along, frog eats it. Another worm comes along, frog eats it. Yet another worm comes along, and frog pulls on it and pulls on it and pulls on it--until it is revealed to be the tongue of a bigger Mupper monster with an appetite for frogs!

    Remember that?

Ok, the Muppets had a frog-eating muppet. But did they have a drug addicted knife-throwing frog who kept having flashbacks to 'Nam?
