It appears that the forthcoming "Misadventures of Merlin Jones" is being released at 1.33:1. Is that the original aspect ratio?

I'm pretty sure that MERLIN JONES was put together from two stories that were originally filmed to be aired on the Disney television program and instead released theatrically. 1.33:1 should be about right.
