Mirage LF 150 - doorbell warning sound? (1 Viewer)

Hi all,

I have a Mirage LF 150 subwoofer along with 5 Mirage Omnisats.

When I turned on my audio system this evening, every two minutes a DOORBELL like beeping would occur through my sats...regardless of the input source selected.

I then turned off my TV, cable box, and receiver...the DOORBELL sound still came through my sats. (yes...I made sure it wasn't my REAL doorbell!)

My deduction is that it is the subwoofer or sats, but I don't know why or how to rectify it. Never had anything like this happen before.

Any help will be GREATLY appreciated!

For those of you scratching your heads...and in case some of you own these same speakers, I'm happy to report to you that none of these speakers make a doorbell like sound.

As technically minded as I consider myself, I have to admit that I'm pretty embarrassed about what it turned out to be.

Let's just say this...

new cell phone + laptop bag + behind the couch = strange speaker problem.



Oh well...we had a good laugh!
