Mike Nesmith of The Monkees has passed today at 78. Sad News. Thanks for the Great Songs Mike !! You will be missed.

Oh no! What terrible news. Mike was a bit of a genius, and I'll always remember him from The Monkees TV show that I watched religiously as a kid. Peace, Mr. Nesmith!

He was the "smart" one. I'm glad that he and Mickey Dolenz got along better these past few years. In the 80's, Mike and Mickey had a "disagreement" for awhile, when he Mike didn't show up for a concert. Do we realize Mickey Dolenz is the "last" Monkey. Now, that makes me feel really sad.

Sorry to hear about this. I loved the Monkees as a kid, and would race home from school to watch the show every afternoon. The older I got, the more I appreciated their music.
