Midnight, Texas: Season One (1 Viewer)

Is no one else watching this? It's got an eclectic mix of supernatural characters just like Charlaine Harris' infamous HBO series True Blood, and things in the first two episodes are certainly weird, creepy, and slowly unfolding into something dreadfully dire.

I hadn't read the True Blood book series when that show began on HBO nor have I read the Midnight, Texas series, so all of the characters and everything that is happening is a complete surprise to me.

Yeah, I might catch this on demand, but I hardly have time for TV shows during baseball season.

I've watched the first two eps. Not much of a plot so far, but I'm kind of interested and will keep watching for now.

I also have not yet read the books, but from what I've read in reviews and such, much of the casting is wrong. Not sure how that will sit with those who have read the books.

I was a little confused about the vampires' ultimate goal this week: was it simply to lay siege to the town and take it over for their own use (needing to bring down Lem in order to accomplish that), or was it more complicated than that? Still enjoying learning more about the town residents as their backstories are slowly presented to us.

I set up my Spectrum DVR for the season. However, all it ever recorded was the pilot, so I canceled the season, and deleted the one recording. A new show is not worth a hassle, unless it get much better reviews than this did/does.
