Hey, Im looking in investing a small amount on a pair of headphones for home use. Im looking at prices under say, $70 CAD, any suggestions?
Im looking for those big ones that fit right over your ear with padded foam...
It'll be used for my Sony Discman, Computer, Home Theater (music/movies) mainly...
A couple i've seen are All Prices in Canadian $:
    - Kenwood KPM-410 ($69.99)
    - JVC HA-G11 ($29.99)
    - JVC HA-G55 ($59.99)
    - JVC HA-V560 (49.99)
    - KOSS UR20 ($39.99)
    - Sony MDRCD 180 ($49.99)
    - Sony MDRCD 280 ($59.99)
I wanna get it locally, all of the ones above, except for the kenwood are from Future Shop...
I was looking at the Sennheiser ones, but they were too expenisve
    Thanks

The Grado SR-60s are very good. They're about $60 US, which may be a little more than you want to spend, but are well worth it.

I've have the v6's and thier amazing. IMO it's worth the extra money. They are really detailed and have incredible bass extension w/o being too loud.

I second both the Sony V6's and Grade 60's, as I have the Sony's and my friend has the 60's......personally, I liked mine more, but hey, your ears. [IMG]

I use Sennheiser HD470s for music on my computer, and they are quite impressive for the price.

I've got a pair of HA-G33s which should fall right between the g-11s and g-55s and they perfrom quite well. If you would consider an open headphone, I strongly recommend the Koss KTX-Pro it is cheap with great sound quality and terrific bass.

Do yourself a favor and have a listen to some Grado's.
I have a pair of SR125's that I am extremely happy with.
I have seen some great pricing on Ebay for the Grado’s.
The link below has some great info on the Grado’s along with other headphones.
