microwave near TV and components?

    Is it in any way harmful to keep a microwave within a few feet of any HT electronic equipment such as a TV, receiver, VCR or game console? What are the potential hazards? thanks in advance!

    No. If you plug them all in on the same outlet (or circuit), you might get some interference when the microwave is being used. Other than that, you're OK.

    Or a circuit overload. Make sure they're on different ones

    just wondering.....how did a microwave come to be located by your TV, vcr etc ?

    I live in a small on campus apartment - not a whole lotta space to work with.
