Ditto, I really liked him in The Green Mile, and other movies he was in. Too bad he's gone.

Sad news indeed. Seems Jeter died at about the exact same time I was enjoying his performance in last year's Welcome to Collinwood. I mention it only cuz that's some weird timing on my end.

Jeter was a great character actor. My heart goes out to his family and friends.

He won an Emmy for his work on Evening Shade and will be remembered by a generation from his work on Sesame Street.

    Plus lots of feature films:

    Hair (1979)
    Ragtime (1981)
    Soup for One (1982)
    Zelig (1983)
    The Money Pit (1986)
    Dead Bang (1989)
    Tango & Cash (1989)
    Miller's Crossing (1990)
    The Fisher King (1991)
    Sister Act 2 (1993)
    Drop Zone (1994)
    Waterworld (1995)
    Air Bud (1997)
    Mouse Hunt (1997)
Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas (1998)
    Patch Adams (1998)
    True Crime (1999)
    Jakob the Liar (1999)
    The Green Mile (1999)
South of Heaven, West of Hell (2000)
    The Gift (2000)
    Jurassic Park 3 (2001)

...and it seems that Jeter finished his turn in the upcoming Tom Hanks flick The Polar Express.

    RIP.

Yeah, last I've seen him in was Welcome to Colinwood, pretty bad way to go, he was playing a poor bum without anything, standing on the street, half blown up, all dirty and sad.

That's a damned shame. He was brilliant in THE FISHER KING.
