MGM's Von Richtofen and Brown (1 Viewer)

I noticed this film is being released on April 24, it seems to have good reviews overall, but I see Amazon lists it as 1:33 and the IMDB site has it as 1:85. I suppose I will have to check the actual dvd in case Amazon perhaps made a mistake. I sure would hate to pass up another possible p&s version. Open matte would at least be a little better. Anyone have further information on this title?

Well, I decided to find a copy and it is indeed listed as " 1:85 Widescreen " on the back cover of the dvd, so if you like WW1 films that deal with the air war - and this film is noted for having well done aerial photography - it should be considered. Even with it's historic inaccuracies it still gets a passing grade on storyline and acting.
