    From Davisdvd.com:

Yay for more Luigi Cozzi madness in the Hercules double-feature. And the Garbage Pail Kids Movie may well be the announcement of the year for some...

I'm surprised MGM got Weekend at Bernie's. Gladden Entertainment owns the film, but released the current DVD through Artisan.

    Love At First Bite...FINALLY!
just hope the music hasn't been rescored.
the possiblity of the absence of 'I love the night life" and (since this is MGM) an MAR transfer prevents me from any David Lambert Naked Happy Dancing till its actually in my hands

even though I don't own a WS TV, I'd doubel dip this title if the MGM DVD will look better, the Artisan DVD is a washed out mess.

Cool.....Love At First Bite and Weekend At Bernies, I can finally add these to my collection (provided they are anamorphic and not altered in any way - of course). [IMG]

Garbage Pail Kids, Illegally Yours and the Bill & Ted box i'm definitely getting.

Just saw Illegally Yours this morning, as a matter of fact.

Now, MGM.... where the heck is The Heavenly Kid? [IMG]

I know it is probably too much to ask, but will NATIONAL LAMPOON'S MOVIE MADNESS (aka GOES TO THE MOVIES) have the deleted Henry Jaglom segment? Never made it to the finished film (which ended up going direct to cable)

Not to burst anyone's bubble, but how do we know that these releases are going to be widescreen period, let alone anamorphic?

I know the Bill and Ted movies already are, but the others...who knows?

Someone knows. DVDAnswers.com reports the Hercules double-feature and Garbage Pail Kids as 1.85:1 anamorphic.

I just saw the cover of Bill & Ted's Most Excellent Collection at IGN and it looks totally excellent. I almost picked up the barebones edition of the Excellent Adventure at Wal-Mart... thankfully I didn't.

    Be excellent to each other.

Glad "The Thin Blue Line" is on there. Too bad it's not a special edition with information about what happened to the participants after the movie was released.

That Making-of on the Bill & Ted box better have some footage from the alternate ending of "Bogus Journey," or I'm gonna be mighty disappointed... I'm already a bit miffed that I'll have to buy the two existing discs again for the bonus materials.

Any word on 'The Loved One'(1965)? The blackest of all Hollywood's comedies.

THE LOVED ONE is owned by Warner Bros.

As for WEEKEND AT BERNIE'S, MGM essentially now owns the old Gladden library; it's just taking a while for the existing deals they made with other video companies to expire and for MGM to assert control on the movies.
