Ohhh yes, I would buy this. My Dad actually shows up in this movie as a member of the band near the end (playing trombone).

Solomon and sheba is owned by mgm.
Daisies is owned by Warners. they own most of Doris Days movies and a high up I know at Warner home vid says they have NO plans to release ANY of doris films in the forseeable future. She doesn't sell well (Pajama Game, Calamity Jane). I would kill for all of the Doris films that were on laser to be on dvd. -
    musicals -
    romance on the high seas
    my dream is yours
    its a great feeling

we could also use the musicals that DIDN'T make it to laser
    Starlift
I'll See You in My Dreams
the only doris musicals we have on dvd are Calamity Jane, Pajama Game, and Young at Heart which Warner no longer owns. however, they still have the original negatives and the master mono mag soundtrack. Too bad Artisan couldn't have gottne a hold of these for their DVD release!
