Please don't give up on your World Films series. You apparently own the great NIGHT OF THE SHOOTING STARS and a few Louis Malle films, such as AU REVOIR, LES ENFANTS and MURMUR OF THE HEART. Please also reconsider re-mastering JEAN DE FLORETTE and MANON DE SOURCE, as everyone out here knows you have the elements to do a better job than you did, in spite of your excuses. We appreciate your efforts to get your catalog committed to DVD. Keep it up! (Just please have more respect for your source material!)

Does MGM have the rights to Vanya on 42nd Street?

I'm down for buying most of Malle's films once they hit DVD.

I'm hoping MGM will soon give us a nice-looking, anamorphically-enhanced print of Malle's VIVA MARIA! (1965) on DVD, with both the French and English-dubbed soundtracks included, and the (slightly) extended ending that was included on the previous laserdisc edition.
