Perhaps then we could get a 16:9 reissue of the Director's Cut of SCREAM.
Also, I'd like to see 16:9 enhanced versions of ARMAGEDDON, HALLOWEEN: H20 and FROM DUSK TILL DAWN.

I'm totally confused: what does MGM have to do with this??? Wasn't Scream a Miramax (a.k.a. Disney) release?

Sorry, please let me clarify my original post:
    1) Disney/Buena Vista signed a deal with MGM to distribute the titles that they licensed to Anchor Bay, once the Anchor Bay deal expires.
    2) Disney/Buena Vista refuses to release the unrated Director’s Cut of SCREAM themselves, but did license it to Image Entertainment for Laserdisc release.
    3) MGM should cut another deal with Disney/Buena Vista to reissue the unrated Director’s Cut of SCREAM on DVD in 16:9 enhanced widescreen.
