Dad built me a beautiful wall unit to house my 65" TV, DVD collection, components, bookshelf speakers, etc. and we chose to cover the speaker enclosures with a black fabric mesh, which he picked out after talking to some people at Radio Shack.
Seems like the fabric is a little beefier than the stuff I had in mind, like the mesh I have covering an old set of speakers floor speakers. And the sound is definately affected, but I can't say for sure that its a problem. I just turned up the treble and it seems to punch thru okay.
But it does bother me. Any thoughts?
