I had a list of like 20 DVDs, including the BTTF box set and some other new releases... I didn't get any! I was going to get some, but my father-in-law decided that a better present would be a digital clock with atomic-clock synchronization and a thermometer. Yeah, I wanted that one too... but I was still a bit disappointed. It's a really cool clock though. :)

I got the LOTR gift set, Ice Age, and BTTF. My brother got me the three Disney treasures, but I'm not seeing him till Friday. My fiancee accidentally got my the fullscreen version of BTTF (it was an honest mistake!), but it was quickly replaced this morning.

Oh, I also got a Sony 655P dvd changer to watch 'em all on. Woohoo!

So's mine!!
So, what are you getting me for my Birthday? :D
Actually, as a kid, I always liked having a birthday one week after Christmas. Why? Because if I didn't get what I wanted for Xmas, there was still a chance that I could get it for my B-day! Of course, I don't know how often that actually came to fruition, but the thought process seemed logical! :)

Christmas 2002: The Christmas I Sold Out

Wife:
The Thing SE
V: The Final Battle
Halloween II (Universal release)
Ernest Goes To Camp (good transfer)
Ernest Saves Christmas (good transfer)
Ernest Goes To Jail (ACK! 1:33:1 and Worst.transfer.ever)
Nirvana: Greatest Hits CD (The Beatles of my generation)

Yes, I knew beforehand Goes To Jail was 1:33:1 only, but it was only $8, and I had to have it for nostalgia's sake. I know, I know, I sold out. But hey, it's a good demo disc if your friends ever ask what "artifacts" are.

Parents:
BTTF Trilogy (widescreen)
The King of Comedy (God bless you Fox!)
One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest 2 Disc SE
Audioslave CD (Go buy it.)

A very good Christmas bounty indeed...my 5 year wait for Ernest on DVD comes to an end....though with the sub-VHS Goes To Jail, not as well as hoped. Oh well, my inner 5 year old has been appeased. Now I must go back to beating the Indiana Jones and Star Wars IV-VI dead horses.

I'm not sure. I found it on-line after numerous searches. Got it delivered yesterday, Thu. 12/26. For a non-anamorphic DVD the quality is pretty damn good, much better than my VHS copy of these movies.
