Hello and good evening to my fellow enthusiests

I was planning to finally get around to EQ'ing my sub this weekend with the BFD I've had sitting on the equipment rack for a solid 2-3 months now. (Does anyone else do this?) I intend to make use of the ETF software but I'm having trouble deciding on whether or not to purchase a measurement condenser mic/preamp or just go ahead and use the correction factors for the RS SLM. ETF wants $250 for the combo. Has anyone had experience with both and noted a significant difference? If so, where did you get the mic/preamp?

    Thanx in advance

the rs meter is only fair.
the mic/preamp seems to be a well respected one.
