There is rumour that the second Simpsons set will show up sometime in May.

I won't be getting Season 2 of Trek, since the budget probably won't allow for it after Season 1. However, I WILL try to get Season 2 of the Simpsons ASAP.
Just wondering, does anyone know why the Simpsons discs take so long? If it's because they are preparing lots of extras for the release, I can then stand the long wait .

I applaud Paramount for trying to rush out TNG given how lon it took them to produce TOS Disks. However given the price of these releases in the Mid $90 range I almost would prefer a 6 month lapse between seasons. Can anyone really afford to buy these every other month, while trying to purchase other releases? Geez I wish I had your disposable income !

To be fair, they really picked up the pace last year. The last 22 discs (over half of the entire set) came out between February & December of 2001.

anyway you look at it, it's going to be a 150$ day (so glad that I'm not a trekkie), hmm think I'll order from amazon, will probably get share the love (yay dvdtalk )on most or all of these and then will get free shipping with their new deal, and maybe find a giftcertificiate or two, probably down to 125... still my wallet is wincing already, let's just hope they DON'T release Back to the Future complete set on May seventh as well...
