Season 1 of TNG will be out March 26th.

There is rumour that the second Simpsons set will show up sometime in May.

I'd also like to get those 4 Vault Disney titles (Old Yeller, Pollyanna, Parent Trap, Swiss Family Robinson) scheduled for that day; each is $30 MSRP, so probably about $21-22 street. Ouch.

I won't be getting Season 2 of Trek, since the budget probably won't allow for it after Season 1. However, I WILL try to get Season 2 of the Simpsons ASAP.
Just wondering, does anyone know why the Simpsons discs take so long? If it's because they are preparing lots of extras for the release, I can then stand the long wait [IMG].

I applaud Paramount for trying to rush out TNG given how lon it took them to produce TOS Disks. However given the price of these releases in the Mid $90 range I almost would prefer a 6 month lapse between seasons. Can anyone really afford to buy these every other month, while trying to purchase other releases? Geez I wish I had your disposable income !

    this day will be bad,
    all four vault disney
many adventures of winnie the pooh
possibly either mash season two or simpsons season two
    possibly Harry Potter
anyway you look at it, it's going to be a 150$ day (so glad that I'm not a trekkie), hmm think I'll order from amazon, will probably get share the love (yay dvdtalk [IMG] )on most or all of these and then will get free shipping with their new deal, and maybe find a giftcertificiate or two, probably down to 125... still my wallet is wincing already, let's just hope they DON'T release Back to the Future complete set on May seventh as well...

[rant]Wow! That's a lotta smack! But is Fox really gonna bring all those TV box sets on the same day? Nah...they wouldn't cannibalize their own sales like that. In fact, they'ld scramble to avoid TNG Season 2, methinks![/rant]

Harry Potter is out on May 28th according to The Digital Bits. But you're still right. Alot of season box sets will be released. I'll only be getting Simpsons and The X-Files though.

As for releasing box sets too quickly... nobody has to buy them when they are first released, they'll be available later too.
The sooner they get them out the better, I say! [IMG]
