Good thing it's a 2-disc set. That means no snapper! But what's with more than half the extras dealing with something other than the movie itself? I'm glad they're including the MTV Movie Awards skit, but I couldn't give a rat's ass about the video game. And please don't tell me they're leaving off the trailers yet again.

Sorry, but these specs have "future re-release" written all over them.

Definitely getting this one. Hope they include the theatrical trailer though as it was one of the coolest I'd seen in awhile. The extras dealing with The Animatrix and Enter the Matrix are shameless promotional ads made to make it look like the disc is loaded with extras.

I was never a fan of the first film's DVD. The movie is great but that disc just didn't do it for me.

I am actually a little disappointed if these are the extras..
PRELOAD: Go behind the scenes with the cast and crew
THE FREEWAY CHASE: Anatomy of the mind-blowing scene
    Looks like fluff to me!
    And what this:
ENTER THE MATRIX: Making of the ground-breaking video game
    WHAT IS THE ANIMATRIX?
I have the Animatrix!!!And the video game thing is on there!!!
No commentary, deleted scenes ( I was hoping that the scenes from the video game would be the disc..maybe as an easter egg )and no preview for Revolutions!??
The keep case is nice, but I have a felling this will be re-released. Maybe I will wait for that![IMG]

Have to see how Revolutions plays out before buying this one.

Right now I don't feel the need to see it again.

They haven't done much with dts recently (although plenty of their earlier releases had it), but the Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves released just last month had dts, so it may not be a lost cause. Doesn't matter to me though, as all I have is DD anyway.

This is definitely a movie I won't buy because I know they will re-release them all in a box set with more extras. I'm guessing it doesn't have many extras because the people involved are still working on the 3rd movie. But come on is WB really serious that they couldn't fit that onto one disc? I look at new line and all the stuff they cram onto one disc, commentaries, dts, documentaries, everything! and WB can't put some little featurettes on the same disc? It seems like they do this just so they can say it's a 2 disc set. It seems so much more cooler to have 2 disc's even if it isn't warrented.

The Fellowship of the Ring Extended Edition is the greatest DVD ever and that was made in the midst of The Two Towers. There is probably going to be a huge box set next summer with all three films and loads of extras (fingers crossed).

Of course you have to bear in mind that we don't know how long the documentaries are... Preload and The Freeway Chase could both easily be quite long if they're done properly...
