Matrix 3 Officially titled... (1 Viewer)

Word has it that producer Joel Silver has finally revealed the title of the coming third MATRIX film.
According to 13th Street, in a recent interview with the producer, Silver revealed that the coming film will be called THE MATRIX REVOLUTIONS.
Warner Bros. has also confirmed that that's the title.

First the Matrix Reloaded and now the Matrix Revolutions...

As for the titles, I think they are very revealing as to the plots. Anybody want to guess?

Just in a sentance? Matrix Reloaded sees the comeback and sucess of the Agents (with some new updated Matrix), then Matrix Revolutions is the sucess of Neo and all his buddies --> revolutions ensue and the matrix is defeated.

Thats probably what will happen, but I really hope not. They might as well call them 'The Agents Strike Back' and 'Return Of The One' and be done with it in that case.

I have to say they're pretty awful titles. They can be slightly redeemed if they're not The Matrix II: The Matrix Reloaded, etc. as subtitles look a bit silly, IMO.
On the other hand The Matrix Revolutions sounds like a 70's disco...
I'd always assumed the plan was to rip off the Anakin Skywalker story and have Neo go all bad in the next film and then redeem him in the third.

I think The Matrix should have been called The Array, the second one should be called The Matrix, and the third one should be called The Determinant.

Right, Michael. Just here at the HTF, there are so many threads. Some last for what seems like ages, and others vanish in a 'poof'. I had planned on avoiding answering, but David got me going.
So, they're going to reload the program. Why even bother? If it is just a reload it is going to have the same problems as the program in (1) did. Maybe he'll have a huge deja vu in the beginning, and in the reloading, there should be a point in time where there wouldn't be any program at all. Maybe he'll use that 'hole' to do something? (Sorry, I got lost) But if they did do 'fixes' for it later, (like with the cat), then there should be even more 'holes' in it, right?
Anyway, I can't wait for both of them.
