How important is it to have your rear speakers matched to the front? I have matched speakers for my mains and centre channel (100 Watts) but my rears are only 60 Watts. Is there any problem with this? Would going to 100 Watt speakers for the rear make a drastic improvement?

The wattage on a speaker has little to do with it's sensitivity, nor it's tonal match to your mains. It is nothing more than a maximum continuous power handling rating, and really means very little to the sound.

Perhaps I should have been more specific. If I matched the speakers to the same brand and rating as the front 3 speakers, would I get a better sound out of the rear channels. (Sorry, not really an audiophile.)
