Anyone see the masters in HD? Was it just me or did it seem as though some of cameras, mainly the roving cameras were not in HD.

Some of the HD pictures were absolutley brilliant, but some shots, the quality just looked poor. It made me wonder cause that ole geezer claimed the event was filmed "ENTIRELY" in hi-def.

Some camera shots did look a little on the ruddy side. But the action was so outrageously fast and furious (for golf, anyhow) on the back 9 that I forgave much of the HDTV shortcomings of the broadcast and just marvelled at the birdies, eagles, hole-in-ones on Sunday.

side note: brilliant is the most overused word in a CBS golf telecast.

Yeah about half the cameras were still SD. It was to be expected with the number of cameras used to cover golf but I did question why they had that guy saying "totally in HD."
