I have a JVC 27D200 TV and the screen is very prone to glare, especially when i'm watching 2.35:1 aspect ratio movies. How do you go about making masks to cover the black bar area on the TV screen. What do you use to make them?

An aside:
If you are annoyed by glare in the black bar area, you would want to control the glare itself because it is in the picture area too and will show up in dark parts of the scene.
Depending on your expertise you can make mattes out of anything, black construction paper, black velvet covered cardboard, black painted cardboard.
