I am looking at picking the 4-seasons up during the ddd sale. As i was browsing them on dvdempire it says season 3 has been discountined. I am wondering was there a reason for this or are they not accurate? As i see it still for sale elsewhere. But i just want to make sure there was not a problem with the set before i go ahead and purchase it.

I don't think any of them sold tremendously well so perhaps they are being taken out of print, although I hope not. But I don't know of any real problems with the sets from a technical standpoint.

By the way, can a moderator merge this post into one of the proper MTM season threads ? Cause that's where it belongs.

Yeah for some reason the search was not bringing up anything for me.. Usually i am good at putting stuff in the correct threads. Instead of starting a new one. So yeah if someone can move this i would appreciate it.

Thanks for the Info BTW.. I am not sure if the show is dead as far as the remaining seasons coming out. But i will go ahead and order just incase they do go out of print like you are saying there. Which may or may not be the case. For $15 a season I can't really go wrong.

I placed my order for the four-season's @ Amazon. $59.98 shipped ($15 per not bad) here is to hoping the final three seasons will get released.

Looks like they have them on sale for about the same price at Best Buy this week. Every time I think about this show I get pissed that I will probably never get to see the final episode again. Of course, if by some miracle the rest of the show gets released, they will probably replace "It's a Long Way to Tipperary" with indistinct humming.

Even though I only saw the finale once, I had made an audio cassette recording of it (now lost), so I still remember the episode well.

It's A Long Way to Tipperary was written in 1912 and is public domain. And if it wasn't, it would be by the time season 7 comes out.

I get so depressed when I see a new MTM thread appear. It is a painful reminder of how much I really want to see the final three seasons on DVD.
