Martin Logans Aeon vs. Ascent (1 Viewer)

All,
I have the upgrade bug again. This time I'm looking to upgrade my speakers. I have the B&W 603S2'S in front, B$W 602S2'S in the rear. I looking at the Martin Logans Aeons or the Ascents. My room size is 14x14x10. I current have an Onkyo 797, my question is for the size of my room would the Ascents be over kill? Also, if the Ascents are that much of an improvement over the Aeons? Lastly, will I have any trouble driving these speakers with my 797? I will use Martin Logans Scripts for the rears with either of these speakers, along with the smaller center channel. All opinons are welcomed. Thanks in advance...

Marshawn,
I think that the Ascents may be too much for the room... you will get better performance if you have the speakers out from the wall at least 2 feet. If you had a bigger room you might be better served with the Ascents... a big panel and more bass...
