- HDNet's plans - Mark Cuban has reportedly been making the rounds

speaking about his upcoming plans for HDNet. They include three more

channels, taking the sports off the current channel and then offering it

free to local DTV broadcasters, the purchase of Rysher Entertainment for

more content ("Hogan's Heroes" in HDTV), NO copy protection, NO

broadcast flag, NO "down-rez" of anything, delivering his own set-top

receivers if there aren't any that will provide programming in the clear

(there have been discussions with Microtune and STMicroelectronics), and

discussions with EchoStar about carriage. Some of that information is

in today's Consumer Electronics newsletter (+1 202 872-9200).
