My dad told me a similar story....

Back in 1975, as JAWS was making its way across the US, there was a massive hype surrounding the movie. Everyone in my small little cow town knew the buzz before it ever opened here.

On opening night, my dad was there. When the lights went down, and the screen lit up, the very first notes of John Williams famous score filled the theater.

No sooner than the first two notes finished, someone in the audience screamed at the top of their lungs.

The entire audience thought it was quite amusing. Ever since hearing that story, I think of it everytime I watch Jaws.
