I was able to figure out the following info:

110 x 7
Due December
DVI Switching 2 in 1 out
Time Base Corrector
4 Component ins and 1 out
THX select
Marantz new Auto EQ(similar to Denons?)
Mic Included
Component upconversion
PLIIX
Dolby Headphone
All Copper chassis with Gold plated connectors
7 digital ins(6 assignable)
RS232 port
RC1400 Remote
Various triggers
Circle Surround

List $1599.

Blurb on amp technology:

Being that I wanted to upgrade, this is the right reciever at the right time as long as they don't have any QC issues..

I wonder if there has ever been a write-up of a Toroidal Transformer that wasn't reported as "massive". In all seriousness, it does look like a good feature set. I would be curious to know how the sound quality compares to the amp section of the 8200/8300 (especially for two channel). I've heard some reports that the 8400 was a step backward in some ways.
