Marantz vs. Yamaha vs. H&K / HELP !!! (1 Viewer)

I want to bay
Marantz SR7400 or Yamaha RX-V1400 or H&K AVR330
I don`t have chance to hear them !!!
so I need your help, to decide
my interests are both stereo and HT
but I will use pre out for stereo with my old LUXMAN 230

Marantz is nice. Yamaha overstates their power ratings, whereas Marantz runs from understated to right on the money from the test results I have seen. The Marantz will be on the warm side of neutral, so if you have speakers that tend toward bright the Marantz may help tame them. Since the x200 series I haven't seen any complaints about Marantz reliability. I have an SR5400 and I couldn't be happier. In fact, instead of stepping up to the plate for an Arcam or Rotel for my next avr I am leaning towards a flagship Marantz because I like the one I have now so much.
Honestly you probably can't go wrong with any of the three lines you mentioned, although you will probably find more former Yamaha users than former Marantz or HK users if that says anything to you.
