At Christmas, my RP-91 DVD was stolen. THey left the Marantz 7200 receiver and I have been using a Samsung combo player until I can decide on another DVD Player. Right now it is between the Yamaha 2300 and the upcoming Denon 2900. One simple question, with the RP-91 on digital input listening to CD's it would miss a fraction of a second of each song. THe Samsung now cuts every song off abruptly at the end.

Does anyone know if Yamaha or Denon keeps a digital signal feed at all times to the receiver so there is no cutting off of the songs. THis didnt occur with analog inputs but I really like the sound of my digital coax input.

    THanks!!

It is my understanding that some players will keep a continuous signal to the receiver so it does not momentarily disconnect. With the Pana it was not a big deal but with the Samsung it sucks.
