Marantz RC5000 still worth it? (1 Viewer)

I know there have been lots of 'advances' with remotes. As of right now, I use around 5 different remotes for all of my gear. I have the opportunity to purchase a new in box Marantz RC5000 for $100. I think it is worth it, but maybe not if there are much better now. Is it still worth it?

Not at that price point.

I've had an RC-5000 for three years and if I could buy another new one for $100.00 I probably would - especially since you get the charging stand and rechargable battery included.

There is still not much out there that has the flexibility of a Pronto / RC-5000, for sure not for $100.00. The ability to do your own interface and graphics is great.
